I found Southern on the web and wanted a quote for my home policy where my rate went up substantially with State Farm. They dropped my premium from $2100 to $1100 for the year for better coverage with an “A” rated carrier. I then decided to let them quote my 2 cars and to my surprised they saved me another $750 for the year. That was the easiest 1850 I have every made!

I had an auto claim with Auto-Owners through Southern Insurance and wasn’t sure what to do since I hadn’t had a claim in years before that. I called the office and spoke to a really friendly person by the name of Wendy. She asked me if I had any injuries and then took down the claim info and contacted Auto-Owners for me. She then explained to me that I have rental car reimbursement on my policy and I can go obtain the rental car and bill the insurance carrier for the cost up to 30 dollars per day. The claims office called me later that day and asked me how I was feeling and said they would have a representative by the next day to look at the car. Sure enough the next day the adjuster called me and came out to my home to look at the car. He wrote an estimate and said I could take it where ever I wanted. My brother suggested I take it to the dealership where I had the car fixed in 5 days and was back on the road.
When it was all said and done I said to my brother that I sure don’t want to have another accident but I couldn’t have been more pleased with the outcome from everyone being so friendly and helpful. Thanks you Southern Insurance Group and Auto-Owners for turning a bad situation good.
